Emergency lighting and siren installation on Upper Gwynedd Township Police Department's restored 1951 Ford — a tribute to the department's first patrol car, lettered “Serving Since 1951.” The goal was equipment that looks right for the era and works on today's parade and community-event circuit. A period-style roof beacon and siren unit sit on the centerline of the roof, with a whip antenna and radio installed for event use. Wiring was routed and concealed to keep the restored bodywork and interior untouched, and every circuit was fused, switched from the cabin, and tested before the car went back to the department.
